Visteria

Instagram Reels analytics for creators

Know why your reel worked — shot by shot.

Visteria lines up where viewers left with the actual shots in your reel, tells you whether Instagram pushed it or stopped after the test batch, and turns every reel you post into a playbook for the next one.

Shot 2 lost the most viewers (61% → 34%): a slow wide pan right after the hook. People who stayed liked it far more than usual, which is why Instagram kept pushing it. Next time: cut the pan to under a second or open on it.

The problem

Insights tell you what happened. Not why.

Instagram says

2,100 views. 58% skip rate. Average watch 4.1 s.

…so was it the hook? The music? The caption? The time you posted?

Visteria says

It stopped after the test batch. The hook held as usual, but shot 2 lost a third of viewers and likes were half your normal rate.

Next time: cut the slow pan, keep the hook.

What you get

A second pair of eyes on every reel.

Built by a drone creator who got tired of guessing. Everything is measured against your own account.

The why

Every shot, scored

Visteria watches your reel and lays the retention curve over the actual shots. You see which shot lost people and which one kept them — not just “84% skipped”.

Live

Pushed or stopped?

New reels are checked every 30 minutes while they’re moving. You see the moment Instagram stops after the test batch — or keeps pushing — and which number made the difference.

Your baseline

Judged against you

Every number reads as “1.5× your usual”, measured against your own recent reels. No generic benchmarks built for accounts ten times your size.

Playbook

What works for your account

Across all your reels: openings, on-screen text, captions, length, timing. Each pattern comes with how sure we are, so you don’t chase noise.

Trial reels

Know when to share

Track trial reels shown only to non-followers and decide when to share them to followers, with the first-batch numbers side by side with your past trials.

Growth

Reach → followers

Views aren’t growth. See how reach turns into profile visits and follows, and which reels actually bring people to your page.

Real numbers, one week

What it found on the founder’s own account.

From @tomeescapes, a drone travel account with under 3,000 followers, in October 2026.

Why one trial got pushed and five didn’t

Likes from the first batch of viewers, the people Instagram tests a trial reel on:

Saves, shares and watch time didn’t separate them. First-batch likes did. That’s now a number checked on every new trial within the first hours.

Reach isn’t growth

The same reel, two days after it took off:

26.6k
accounts reached
84
profile visits
1
new follower

99% of viewers didn’t follow the account. Visteria tracks this funnel for every reel, so you can tell the reels that bring followers from the ones that only bring views.

How it works

Connect once. It watches every reel.

  1. Continue with Instagram

Official Instagram login, read-only. Your recent reels and their stats come in within minutes.

  2. Post as usual

Every new reel is picked up within about 5 minutes and checked every 30 minutes while it’s still spreading. The video itself is analysed shot by shot.

  3. Read the verdict

A plain-language verdict, the why behind it, and what to try next — plus a Playbook that gets sharper with every reel.

Where it fits

Not another scheduler.

Social media suites show your numbers in nicer charts. Visteria explains them.

Next: a forecast before the numbers are in.

An early read two hours after posting — will this reel get pushed? — and later, before you post at all. One engine that learns from every reel on the platform while your own reels stay private.

Questions

Good to know.

What does it need from my Instagram?

A professional (creator or business) account. You sign in with Instagram’s official login and Visteria gets read-only access to your posts and their insights. It can’t post, comment, or message for you.

How is this different from Instagram Insights?

Insights tells you what happened: views, skip rate, a retention graph. Visteria tells you why, by matching those numbers to the shots, hooks and captions in your reels, comparing every reel with your own baseline, and learning across all your reels what keeps people watching.

Does it schedule or post reels?

No. Keep your scheduler. Visteria is the part that tells you what to make next.

What about YouTube Shorts and TikTok?

YouTube Shorts can be connected today, with watch time and retention from YouTube Analytics. TikTok is planned.

Is my content used to train AI?

Your videos are analysed by Claude (Anthropic) to describe shots and on-screen text. Anthropic doesn’t train its models on that data. Visteria uses anonymised numbers across accounts to improve its own performance predictions; your reels are never shown or shared with anyone.

Where is my data stored?

In the EU (Frankfurt). You can disconnect and delete everything at any time.

How much does it cost?

It’s free during the beta. After that there’s a free plan with stats, and Creator at €12/month for the analysis and Playbook.

Stop guessing what to post next.

The beta opens to a small group of creators at a time. Leave your email and we’ll send you a spot.
